This is the official web-page of The Cardinal Smokehouse Restaurant. This roomy, 120 seat, 4,900 square feet restaurant is owned and operated by Bobby Worthington and family. Bobby is a freelance outdoor writer, book author, seminar speaker and nature photographer. He is a six generation, lifelong native of Bledsoe County, Tennessee. The cardinal restaurant is a first-class, full-service restaurant and gallery.
Among its many features this restaurant has a large,outside waterfalls, a large, rock fireplace and five cardinal center piece images etched in granite tile on the three dining rooms floors. This restaurant is more than a first - class dining establishment it is a gallery.The beloved cardinal, or "redbird" as it is commonly known, is the theme for the restaurant and it's photos and images are seen throughout. All photos are taken by Bobby and sons, AJ and Clay.

The Cardinal Smokehouse Restaurant is a first-class, full-service restaurant and gallery. It is located on U.S. highway 101 (Lantana rd) just before the junction with 285 in Bledsoe County, Tennessee (page down for map to restaurant). The Restaurant is owned and operated by Bobby Worthington and Family. All meals are home cooked on the premises. At the Cardinal Restaurant you will enjoy a unique dining experience not soon forgotten. The Cardinal restaurant is dedicated to providing top quality food at a reasonable price in a clean and sanitary environment. The hospitable staff will make you feel right at home while catering to all your dining needs. Enjoy looking at the world-class bird photography by renowned outdoor writer and wildlife photographer Bobby Worthington and sons while you dine.

Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday - CLOSED (Except on some holidays or for large groups with prior notice and Catering.)
Thursday, Friday and Saturday - 10:30am until 9:00pm.
Sundays - 11:30am until 2:00pm

Buffet plate lunches served Thrusday thru Saturday 10:30am until 2:00pm, Sundays 11:30am until 2:00pm. (Evenings after 2:00pm - Menu Orders Only)
Friday is seafood night. We will be serving excellent, gourmet catfish, frog legs, and shrimp
On Saturday evenings you can enjoy succulent, hickory smoked meats such as: Prime Ribs, Brisket a great Steak or Chicken.
